Wellness PPC Landing Page Teardown: From Ad Click to Human Reply
An anonymized case study from a real wellness project: connecting an ad, a clear landing page, an appointment request, and a reply from the team.
An anonymized case study from a real IT services project: clearer service pages, Google Business Profile eligibility, and practical website improvements.

Reviewed September 13, 2026.
About this case study: Based on a real project. Identifying details have been anonymized or replaced with sample information to protect client privacy. The wireframes recreate page structure; they are not original client screenshots. This review focuses on the website decisions, without reporting performance metrics.
The project involved a small IT services firm that visits local offices to set up computers, troubleshoot networks, and support staff. Its website looked professional, but a business owner could not quickly tell whether it handled their problem or traveled to their office.
That is a useful place to start a local SEO review: what does a prospective customer need to understand before making contact?
This example involves actual visits to customer premises. That matters when considering Google Business Profile: Google requires in-person customer contact during stated hours, and online-only businesses are ineligible. The firm would still need to meet the other requirements in Google’s eligibility guidelines.
A software company selling subscriptions entirely online needs a different assessment. Having customers in a city does not, by itself, make that company eligible for a Business Profile.
Compare these two recreated first screens for the firm. The improvement is the order and specificity of the information.

These changes do not require extra town pages or unsupported claims about response times, certifications, or uninterrupted service. A real firm should use only services and coverage it can deliver.
In this scenario, the site has one broad services page, a short About page, and a generic contact form. Here is the initial review:
| Page | Website problem | Practical change |
|---|---|---|
| Homepage | “Technology solutions” hides the actual work | State the main services, customer type, and real service area near the top |
| Services | A single paragraph mixes unrelated requests | Explain each service with the problems it covers, limits, and next step |
| About | No information about who visits the office | Add truthful team details and an explanation of how service visits work |
| Contact | Visitors can only send a message | Ask for business location and a short problem description; explain who will respond |
Separate service pages may be useful if computer setup and network troubleshooting need materially different explanations. They should earn their place through helpful content, rather than exist only to repeat keywords.
Likewise, a list of nearby cities does not require a page for every city. Start with an accurate service-area explanation. Consider additional location pages only when there is distinct, useful information to share.
For this firm, the priorities are:
Before judging progress, record the starting point: relevant search queries and clicks, inquiries received, and whether those inquiries fit the firm’s services. Treat potential search demand as a hypothesis until research and actual data support it. A clearer page is useful, but it does not establish that rankings or sales will rise.
