Local SEO for an IT Services Firm: A Website Case Study
An anonymized case study from a real IT services project: clearer service pages, Google Business Profile eligibility, and practical website improvements.
An anonymized case study from a real wellness project: connecting an ad, a clear landing page, an appointment request, and a reply from the team.

Reviewed September 13, 2026.
About this case study: Based on a real project. Identifying details have been anonymized or replaced with sample information to protect client privacy. The wireframes recreate page structure; they are not original client screenshots. This review focuses on the page and inquiry process, without reporting campaign performance metrics.
The project involved a local yoga studio advertising an introductory private session for beginners. The ad took visitors to a homepage that listed classes, instructor training, private sessions, and merchandise. In the recreated version below, its main button says “Begin Your Journey.”
Someone who clicked to ask about a private session now has to find that service again, work out what it involves, and decide whether the button books something or sends a message.
This teardown follows that one visitor from the ad to a human reply. The practical work is small enough to discuss as a focused page improvement.
The studio’s ad could say:
Private Yoga for Beginners in [Town]
New to yoga? Ask about an introductory one-to-one session at our studio. Tell us your preferred day and we’ll reply with availability.
The landing page should continue that conversation. An opening such as “Explore Your Full Potential” introduces another interpretation when the visitor needs service details.

Begin Your Journey
The visitor must find private sessions again and guess what the action does.
Private sessions · [Town]
1. Your First Private Yoga Session in [Town]
A one-to-one introduction for beginners. Meet your instructor at our [neighborhood] studio.
2. Before you request: [Session length] · [Actual price] · [Studio address]
3. Ask About a Private Session
Send a request. Our team will reply to discuss availability before anything is booked.
Replace every placeholder with approved studio details. This example makes no health or treatment promises.
Keep the opening focused, then add a short “What to expect” section. For this example, the page needs:
Use a real photo of the studio and an accurate instructor introduction if those assets are available. Only include verified reviews and credentials in the proof section.
A visitor should be able to judge the fit without navigating the entire website. The broader class schedule can remain a secondary link below the private-session information.
For this studio, the form asks for a name, email address, preferred day or time, and an optional question. If the studio needs a phone number, explain its purpose and decide whether it is necessary for this request.
The button says Send My Session Request, with this note nearby:
This sends an inquiry to the studio. Your session is confirmed only after our team agrees a time with you.
Don’t label this “Book Now” unless the visitor can actually select and confirm an available appointment. Requesting Tuesday afternoon is different from reserving it.
Keep sensitive health information out of this general inquiry example. Any separate intake requirements need their own appropriate process.
After submission, show a clear confirmation:
Your request has been sent.
Our team will contact you using the details you provided to discuss availability. No appointment has been booked yet.
Only publish a response-time promise the team can consistently meet. The business also needs a named person responsible for checking inquiries and someone to cover their absence.
Sample human reply:
Hi Alex, thanks for asking about an introductory private session. You mentioned Tuesday afternoons. We have [confirmed available times]. Would either work for you? Once we agree a time, I’ll send the session details and next steps.
Automatic acknowledgment helps explain what happened. The studio still handles the conversation, availability, and appointment confirmation.
Open the landing page on a phone and submit a test request. Check that the page describes the advertised session, the form works, the visitor sees confirmation, and the responsible person receives enough information to reply.
For any later performance review, keep the stages separate: an ad click, a submitted request, a confirmed appointment, and an attended session are different events. This example demonstrates a clearer path; it does not establish that the changes will produce more bookings.
For the broader campaign preparation questions, use the small-business PPC readiness guide.
If your website makes visitors repeat the search that brought them there, start by clarifying the service page and its request process.
